Every OpalThread piece begins with you — your posture, your occasion, the way you want to feel in a room. From that first conversation we draft a pattern drawn for one body only.
Our cutters, seamstresses and hand-finishers work in a single studio, so nothing is outsourced and nothing is rushed. What you receive is not a size — it is a garment that could belong to no one else.

Private Consultation
We meet in the studio to talk about the occasion, your taste and your timeline before a single sketch is drawn.

Measurement & Toile
Over twenty measurements inform a paper pattern, tested first in a cotton toile so the fit is proven before fabric is cut.

Fabric & Design
Choose from rare silks, wools and laces. We refine the silhouette, neckline and finishing details together.

Fittings & Hand-Finishing
Two to four fittings shape the garment to your body. Every hem and closure is then finished by hand in the atelier.
